About Kriya Yoga Initiation (Deeksha)
An Unbroken Line of Direct Transmission
One must receive initiation into the authentic Kriya Yoga directly from Paramahamsa Prajnanananda or one of his authorized disciples. Those who got initiated by other Gurus / systems need to obtain fresh initiation from us.
Preparation for Deeksha
People who wish to receive the initiation are encouraged to familiarise with the teachings of Paramahamsa Hariharananda and Paramahamsa Prajnanananda. Many vedios are available in youtube or you can purchase one of the books written by Paramahamsa Hariharananda ( the Book on Kriya Yoga is the best seller and available in Malayalam also)or Paramahamsa Prajnanananda. You are encouraged to familiarize with the resources available in this site and www.kriya.org & www.prajnanamission.org
The student should make a strong commitment to learn Kriya procedures technically correct, allocate time to practise on a daily basis – to reap the benefits.

Attending a Kriya Yoga Program
A Sanyasi from Prajnana Mission, Puri ( Currently, Swami Achalananda Giri ) conducts Kriya Yoga first level Initiations in Kerala. Please consult our programme calendar for the dates and locations.
The schedule for Kriya Yoga first level Initiation program ( subject to changes) :
* Day 1 during the evening: introductory talk by Swamiji
* Day 2 from 7.45am to 6pm : The Deeksha
* Day 3 from 8am to 12 o clock: practice of the Kriya Techniques.
Mandatory : The student must attend all the three sessions. Discipline is the key to success in a spiritual sadhana.
There will be a minimum of three group guided meditations under the supervision of the Swamiji. Afterwards, the initiates can practice regularly on their own and attend group meditations in their area (usually Sundays).
The Sacred Instruction: The Tradition of Kriya Yoga Purification and Blessing Ceremony
The instruction ceremony consists of the following phases:
- Purification of body, spine, and senses
- Infusion of triple divine qualities ( sound , vibration, light)
- Blessings with flower
- Oblations of breath to the fire ( symbolic fire ceremony)
- Affirmation
- Offerings to God and masters
- Sprinkling of the holy water
Instruction ceremony participation covers:
- All ceremonial purifications
- Teachings of the first level of the Kriya Yoga techniques
Offerings: The seeker offers God and the masters – (a)five types of fruits, which represent the fruits gained from activities throughout life; (b) five types of flowers, which represent the five senses; and (c) a monetary donation which represents the material state. The three offerings represent the causal, astral, and gross bodies respectively.
How to register for Deeksha: 1. Best option to guarantee a seat: Online booking and donation through this website after providing your personal details OR less preferred - 2. At the place of the deeksha on Day 1, after confirming your participation by phone.
Follow-up after the Deeksha: The students are expected to practise daily at home and attend the weekly guided group meditations held at the center. The student can participate in the residential Retreats with our Guruji and visit the mother ashram at Puri, Odisha.

ദിവസം 3 രാവിലെ 8 മണി മുതല്‍ ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 1 മണിവരെ ക്രിയാ പരിശീലനം.
ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക
- മൂന്നു ദിവസവും നിര്‍ബന്ധമായും പങ്കെടുക്കേണ്ടതാണ്.
- ദീക്ഷ ചടങ്ങുകളില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുതിനുളള നിബന്ധ നകള്‍ ആദ്യ ദിവസം ആചാര്യന്‍ അറിയിക്കുതാണ്.
- ആത്മീയ സാധനയിലെ വിജയത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന ഘടകം പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായ അച്ചടക്കമാണ്.
സ്വാമിജിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ 3 സംഘധ്യാനങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തപ്പെടുകയും ക്രിയാ യോഗ (ലെവല്‍ 1) സമ്പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായ സാങ്കേതികത്വത്തോടുകൂടി പഠിതാവിന് ഉപദേശിച്ച് നല്‍കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അതിനുശേഷം, ദിവസവും വീട്ടില്‍ വച്ച് ക്രിയ പരിശീലിക്കുകയും ആഴ്ചയിലൊരിക്കല്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ സെന്ററില്‍ (ഞായറാഴ്ചകളില്‍) വച്ച് സംഘടിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സംഘധ്യാനങ്ങളില്‍ (ഗ്രൂപ്പ് മെഡിറ്റേഷന്‍) പങ്കെടുത്ത് ഈ ആത്മവിദ്യയില്‍ നല്ല പരിശീലനവും അറിവും അനുഭവവും നേടണം
പവിത്രമായ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങള്‍
പരമ്പരാഗതമായ ക്രിയാ യോഗ ശുദ്ധീകരണ, അനുഗ്രഹ ചടങ്ങുകള്‍ താഴെപ്പറയുവയാണ്.
- ശരീരം, നട്ടെല്ല്, ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങള്‍ ഇവയുടെ ശുദ്ധീകരണം.
- മൂന്ന് ദിവ്യഗുണങ്ങളുടെ പകരല്‍ ( ശബ്ദം, സ്പന്ദനം, പ്രകാശം).
- പുഷ്പം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് അനുഗ്രഹം.
- പ്രതീകാത്മകമായി അഗ്നിയില്‍ ശ്വാസം അര്‍പ്പിക്കല്‍.
- പ്രതിജ്ഞ.

ദീക്ഷയ്ക്കുശേഷം തുടര്‍ പരിശീലനം
- വീടുകളില്‍ സ്വയം ദിവസവും പരിശീലനം ചെയ്യണം.
- ഞായറാഴ്ചകളില്‍ ഓരോ സെന്ററുകളില്‍ വച്ച് നടത്തപ്പെടുന്ന സംഘധ്യാനം (ഫീസില്ല)
- ഒറീസ്സയിലെ പുരിയിലുളള മാതൃആശ്രമമായ ഹരിഹരാനന്ദ ഗുരുകുലം സന്ദര്‍ശിക്കാം. അവിടെ നടക്കുന്ന പരിപാടികളുടെ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ സമയാസമയങ്ങളില്‍ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്.
